I can really recommend this store if what you're looking for is to be spoken down to and made to feel unwelcome. When my fiancee visited the shop wanting to buy her bridesmaids' dresses, and the shoes and accessories that go with them, she was fully expecting to pay in the region of a thousand pounds; not the largest sum, but my no means paltry. Despite this, the older woman running the store treated my fiancee with a great deal of suspicion, acting as if she, and her mother and sister who accompanied her, might steal one of the dresses at any moment. During the shopping experience the same woman asked if my fiancee had looked elsewhere for her dresses, in a manner that suggested she should leave the store. She also interrogated her as to why she didn't buy her actual wedding dress from the shop. When the seamstress entered the shop my fiancee got her first experience of good customer service: The seamstress showed a genuine interest in what she wanted, and offered sound advice about how it could be achieved. Unfortunately it was at this point that the older woman pulled the seamstress to one side, behind some stairs but in full view of my fiancee and her family, and, amongst her mutterings, referred to my fiancee 'rubbing salt in the wound' by wishing to buy bridesmaids' dresses but not her actual wedding dress. Both the seamstress and the older woman then didn't speak to my fiancee and her family until my fiancee, who had overheard much of the conversation, felt she needed to ask whether she was unwelcome at the store. The woman running the store told my fiancee she needn't leave, and explained her conversation by stating she was talking about a customer who had been in the store earlier. Even if this was not a lie, which I highly doubt, how grossly unprofessional to be so insulting about one customer in the presence of another. I am nothing short of disgusted about how my fiancee was treated at this store. The manager/owner's complete lack of manners made an experience that should have been special and exciting, upsetting and disappointing. Even if this review stops one person from shopping at this store it will make the time it took to write it more than worth it. To this effect I'll also be posting the same thing on every bridal store review site that I can find.

I found my beautiful wedding dress at this shop last week - it was an amazing day- i was given loads of time and so many dresses to try on. Before going here I had found it difficult to find dresses i could try on. I had so much choice here. It made it easy for me to know that i had found the most amazing dress for me. The staff were so helpful and even handed me and my mum a tissue when we got so emotional - thank you again i can't wait for my dress to arrive

I can't beleive how much choice they had. I was allowed to try on as many dresses as I wanted. After being to loads of other shops and only being allowed to try on 4 or 5 i had so much time which made it so easy to choose my dress - i love it - thank you for being so friendly
