Opposite Cafe

Opposite is an independent espresso bar focussed on providing healthy food and excellent coffee to the students of Leeds University and beyond.

Located directly 'Opposite' the Parkinson Building - the iconic main building and library of the University - the cafe has become popular with students, staff and everybody else as well.

The principles of Opposite are simple:

Serving affordable, healthy and freshly made food every day - no additives here!

To source suppliers locally and support small independent businesses.

The Opposite espresso is a blend of 5 high quality arabica beans from 3 continents. The best thing about it - apart from the taste of course - is the fact that every single bean is certified Fairtrade.

Opposite milk comes from a local organic dairy near Wakefield. They deliver it freshly pasteurized from the happy cows the Clever Cow organic dairy.
