  I visit shanti nearly every month, and I have to say it is the best Indian restaurant I have been to, I have the chicken Tikka Masala and Jeera Rice and Naan bread as a main course which are all very tasty, the manager is so friendly he even recognized me last time we were there, and looked after us well. try a glass of purple Rain cocktail!! WOW!! Booked in for New Years Eve !!!cant wait...

• A very merry christmas indeed!!!

  We went to Louisiana for our christmas party last week and had a brilliant time!!The table was beautifully decorated in their private function room, with music to suit our own personal tastes and a lovely welcome drink on arrival! The waitress was very nice and polite and catered to our every need, even when a few of us had had one too many 2 for 1 cocktails!!!The food was excellent, great value for the price!!We were very unsure of where to go for our xmas party this year and took our chances with louisiana, definately the best decision we could have made and have already booked for next year!!

  I went to this restaurant thinking how can they do two types of quisines well. I was astonished, the food was impressive and the waiters were friendly overall a good experience. i definitely be going back!

• Avoid

  This restaurant is plain awful, even trying to complain is impossible as their email address doesnt work, anyway just to say that the food was poor, my 3 year old could of cooked with more competance, everything tasted like it came out of a microwaved frozen packet, the service was terrible, after 10 minutes of trying to get the waitresses attention we ended up just going to the manager to pay, theier idea of catering to children is giving them a GLASS full of very tiny crayons to draw on a paper menu, (classy) I will never eat there again, I do recall going about 2 years ago and it was never this bad. Avoid at all costs (unless you don't value your taste buds or your stomach)

• Really Poor

• Poor!

  When I visited this place was were poor. The waiters were rude and the food was cooked ameturish. I could have done better myself. This Amit guy who has put in the excellent review is actually part of the management so hes uping his own restaurant. Poor way to promote your restaurant. I am a real customer and telling it how it is.

• CHRISTMAS PARTY

  9 of us went on 22.12.08 for the 4 course special at 17.95, what a disappointment, service was appalling, food was average and the place was dead, they couldnt wait to get rid of us at 10.30pm so they could lock up for the night, been to Louisiana on previous occasions and always enjoyed the food, will be a long time before I go again, watch out when ordering the chicken dishes as they tend to be RAW in the middle!

• Outstanding authentic indian cuisine!

  My friends and i ate at Shanti last week and all i can say is that it was the best indian meal we have ever had. Being indian myself the food really did remind me of my mum's fantastic cooking!! Not only is the food amazing, the decor is aswell. And there's even a friendly team of waiters including the young cute manager who is sure to brighten up anyones evening! 10/10
