Wow, I eat the food here and it's so good it makes me home sick. A lot of my friends go now and it's the best place to go for Chinese food. I eat the dim sum. I like the fresh noodles too. So good. The noodles are famous now :) Peace out. Wei Wei

What can i say, i was invited to go for a chinese. My friend suggested we go to a place called Mulan. Which is on Gower street just off Regents Street. She been there previously and thoroughly enjoyed it. Im not one to accepte others judgment till ive sampled the place myself. Which i did, and it was fantastic. Now ive never really been one for Dim Sum but Mulans choice of dishes really got the taste buds going. From a dish called Wartip, which is a form of meat filled dumpling to cucumber and garlic. Your usual spring rolls and spare ribs. A chinese menu wouldnt be one without them on. One dish i reccommend to anyone is the pappaya in vinegar. now trust me its not as bad as it sounds, in fact it's that good i ordered one to take away. You must also try the Mooli, which can come in two forms. Either a turnip paste with bits of prawn and sausage in. Or a mooli ball which has light flakey pastry on the outside.
I went today and it was packed full of Chinese people. Looked like some kind of party. But it turns out it was a normal Dim Sum thing and it's really popular to sit and eat little dishes of food for ages. I went with a Chinese friend and she helped me choose. I was the only white person there and this place must be like a secret. But the food was good and everyone seemed to know everyone so it wasn't their first time. It's always good if there is Chinese in a Chinese restaurant I think. Really nice place and really reasonable prices as well. At the end we were totally full and only paid under a tenner each. I also highly recommend it!

I've only been here a couple of times now, but every time it's great. It's a Chinese restaurant with a really nice relaxed atmosphere. I have taken my friends and my mum. There is not many places I can do that. The prices are really good, the food is great and I love the noodles. I think I have actually started craving them. They are so fresh you can see them being made in the kitchens at Mulan. There is this great dish that's simply called poached pork. I've been with my Chinese friends and they say it is just like back home. Be warned though it's massive and it's quite spicy! The first time I went I over ordered, which was great but I had no room for desserts. This time I went they had changed the ice-cream menu. I had a mix of green tea ice-cream and rose petal sorbet and he service was great they even brought me a sample of wasabi ice-cream (it was really nice but I went for the green tea). I was really impressed because I have never seem such a range of ice-creams and sorbets! Anyway, the whole night was great. And it was a lot busier than the last time I went. Definitely somewhere for the slightly more adventurous Chinese food-lover.
