£20 to test a laptop and lead?

Since previous review, and with more time to research, I'm seeing prices quoted of one or two pounds per test. Why did Jaylex want £20 to test laptop and lead, which I took to him while he was installing an alarm in acustomer's house? Oh, and still no certificate (27JAN07) Steve Hill

PAT Test done - paid in cash - 2 months on - no Ce

Summary: PAT Test Certificate, paid for in cash 26OCT06 not received by 18JAN07. Three phone calls, two first class letters (one Recorded); two First Class S.A.E.s. 06NOV06"He explained that he didn�t answer the phone or pick up messages over the weekend in case they were from customers" 30DEC06"He said they were on holiday in Spain, and that my letter had probably got put in the pile of things to do"
